Uniform Information
Lands’ End and Tommy Hilfiger are the school’s uniform providers. All plaid skirts and skorts must be purchased from Lands’ End. All other approved uniform clothing items can be purchased from either store. Lands' End and Tommy Hilfiger ordering information is on the school website.
* All Parker uniform clothing items are allowed.
* Uniforms are to be worn on all field trips unless otherwise specified.
* The Colonel Shop will offer Copiah apparel from Tommy Hilfiger and other venders that the administration has approved to be worn to school as part of the uniform.
Required Uniform
Red Collared Shirt even with a pullover or a jacket to be worn with the following bottoms: Boys- shorts/ khaki pants; Girls-plaid skort or khaki shorts/pants.
Official Dress Code
K-12 Girls:
* Tops – white, red, royal, gray polo style, collared shirt - even with a pullover or a jacket; dry weave or cotton; Toddler-size feminine-fit polo will be available through Colonel shop. Monday - Thursday
* Copiah t-shirts – Friday only unless otherwise specified; t-shirts must contain the Copiah logo.
* Pants – true khaki color; No skinny styles, cargo styles, no khaki denim or jeggings; may be purchased from any vendor
* Shorts – true khaki color; no cargo; 3 inches above the knee measured from the back leg bend; may be purchased from any vendor
* Skorts - true khaki color or Copiah plaid; 3 inches above the knee measured from the back leg bend; may not be rolled at the waist
* Skirts - true khaki color or Copiah plaid; 3 inches above the knee measured from the back leg bend; may not be rolled at the waist; black, navy, red, or royal modesty shorts MUST be worn underneath.
* Toddler/Polo-style dress (K-4th grade) - true khaki color or Copiah plaid for toddler dress, red color Lands’ End Polo style dress; must be 3 inches above the knee measured from the back leg bend; black, navy, red, or royal modesty shorts must be worn underneath
* Girls’ jumper (K-4th grade) - true khaki color or Copiah plaid; 3 inches above the knee measured from the back leg bend; black, navy, red, or royal modesty shorts must be worn underneath
* Leggings/tights – solid black, navy, red, white; can only be worn under skorts or skirts
* Blankets (7-12 girls only) – solid black, navy, red, white, gray. Blankets may be used in the classroom draped across the lap only. Blankets may not be wrapped around girls while walking anywhere.
* Open-toed shoes are permissible for girls only (7-12 only). Rubber flip-flops are not allowed.
* Ugg and Ugg style boots are permissible. Slippers and moccasin-style Uggs are not permissible.
* Solid red, royal, navy, white, or gray knee socks are permitted for K-6th grade girls only.
* All hair accessories should complement school colors.
* Cardigan sweaters are allowed in solid red or gray with Copiah monogram.
K-12 Boys:
* Tops – white, red, royal, gray polo style, collared shirt - even with a pullover or a jacket; dry weave or cotton; light blue oxford-style button down shirt; all must be tucked in the waistband Monday - Thursday
* Copiah t-shirts – Friday only unless otherwise specified; t-shirts must contain the Copiah logo; must be tucked in the waistband.
* Pants – true khaki color; No skinny styles, cargo styles, no khaki denim; may be purchased from any vendor
* Shorts – true khaki color; 3 inches above the knee measured from the back leg bend; no cargo; may not be rolled at the waist; may be purchased from any vendor
* Belts are required (1st -12th grades only) – Brown or black leather plain or braided style; plain buckle.
* Boys may wear up to calf height socks if they are solid color without any designs or large logos.
All Students K-12:
* Only Copiah outerwear can be worn in the classrooms/ buildings and at PE/ recess during academic hours.
* All hems must be finished. This includes alterations of skorts/shorts/pants.
* No hats of any style are to be worn on the academic campus.
* Athletic wear is not appropriate attire for students on the academic campus.
* Closed-toe shoes may be worn in predominate colors of white, navy, gray, black, brown, red or royal with complementary accent colors and shoelaces; no neon. Solid color Crocs are acceptable, no camouflage.
* Boots may be worn with khaki pants only. Pants may not be tucked into boots. Loafers may be worn with or without socks for boys.
* Socks with shorts/skirts/skorts must be pushed down; they should not be pulled up. / with pants any color and design.
* Uniforms and shoes should be in good condition (not ripped, faded, ragged, or with holes) and uniforms should be appropriately fitted to each child.

* Red, royal, grey, black jacket with Copiah monogram
* Red, royal, grey Copiah sweatshirts
* Red, royal, grey Copiah hoodies; heads may not be covered in the academic buildings
Spirit Days
Students, faculty and administration are encouraged to participate in spirit day functions. However, if you choose not to participate with spirit day, you must wear the uniform or the uniform bottoms (skort, shorts, or pants) with the Copiah t-shirt. The Copiah Dress Uniform policy regulations will apply to spirit day attire.
Additional Information
Be sure to label all jackets and clothes with your child’s name in the collar or waistband. Lost uniform pieces are placed in the “lost and found” bin in the cafetorium.
The Administration reserves the right to make changes and adjustments to the guidelines as needed.
