Seniors: These seniors need to come see Mrs. Hust ASAP. Morgan Brown, Peyton Whitehead, Adam Pitts,
Elizabeth Cliburn, Kacie Berry, Barry Blackwell, Danaher Broome, and Taylor Tillery.
Driver’s Ed: Any students interested in taking Driver’s Education need to sign up in the office.
Cost is $100. Also, all students that took Driver’s Ed last year need to get their certificate from Coach Cline.
Re-registration: Re-registration for the 2012-2013 school year is currently underway.
The deadline is March 1st.
Baseball: The Colonel JV and Varsity baseball teams will travel to MRA on Thursday, February 23rd.
The JV team will play at 4:00 followed by the Varsity team at 6:00

Mock Trial: Following each round of competition, each team awards its opponent peer choice awards.
The following awards were presented to Copiah Academy team members.

Along with peer awards individual judges assign awards during each round.
Special recognitions are given at the close of the competition for the judges’ awards.
Thomas Roberson received 2nd place overall in the state competition with a total of 11 awards.
Jason Snyder received 7th place overall in the state competition with a total of 10 awards.
Tennis: There will be no tennis practice today.
Basketball: The Varsity girls basketball team will play MRA at East Rankin today at 4:00 in the
AAA State Basketball Tournament. Please dismiss the girls at 1:15.
Quiz Bowl: The following students will be out for Co-Lin Quiz Bowl today. They are Sam Walters,
Libby Tyson, Jason Snyder, Stu Monk and Taylor Fink. They will return at 2:07.

Lunch: Breadsticks, or Steak fingers, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and a roll
AR: The following students need to report to the band hall during AR. Lawson Edmonds, Noah Christy, Jessica Purvis, Sam Walters, Matthew Hancock, Olivia Taylor, Jennifer Lea, Tiffany Taylor, and Kayley Patterson
Blood Drive: Mississippi Blood Services will be here for our annual blood drive on Wednesday, February 1st, beginning at 7:30. There is a sign up sheet in the office. Donors must be at least 16 years old. If a donor is 16 years old, they must have a permission form (available in the office) signed by parents.
Valentine Suckers: The varsity cheerleaders are selling valentine suckers for $0.50 and “Smalentine Smencils” for $1.00 each. This is a fundraiser to help pay for camp.
Basketball: The Colonel basketball team will host Hillcrest today. The 7th grade boys will play at 3:00 followed by the JV girls, JV boys, Varsity girls, and Varsity boys.
Soccer: The Boys’ soccer team will play at home today beginning at 5:00pm.
Math and Science Competition: The following students will be out Friday February 3 for the Math and Science competition. Lexie Mcphail, Erin Upchurch, Sam Walters, Kaylee Turnage, Jason Snyder, Taylor Fink, Stu Monk, Jennifer Lea, Stephanie Cunningham, Meghan Johnson, Michael Bagley, Logan Berry.
